The accommodation is situated in what was the old Exford Post Office and Stores which closed in 2014. This part of the building dates back, supposedly, to the 18th century and started life as a single storey blacksmiths forge, later in the 1920s when the forge eventually closed it became a hardware store and the second floor of the building was then added as a storeroom.

The accommodation comprises:

Living Room

• A light and spacious living room with a two-seater leather sofa and a coffee table.
• Wall sockets include USB ports to charge your mobile, tablet, etc
• The kitchen area has a table with two chairs, a sink, a combination microwave / oven, air fryer, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, cafetière, and all normal small utensils.

Bedroom 

• Double bed with memory foam topper, two bedside tables with reading lamps, a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
• Wall sockets include USB ports to charge your mobile, tablet, etc.
• Various adapters for phones, etc along with hairdryer in the chest of drawers

Shower Room

• Large corner shower, WC, sink, large illuminated mirror, heated towel rail/radiator. 

Entertainment / Leisure

• Large Plasma TV along with a Freesat box.
• Roku system for films via Netflix
• DVD player, A large library of DVDs is available if required
• Compendium of games
• Playing Cards
• Chess set
• A large selection of local walk and cycle maps and books
• Two Umbrellas

Dog-Friendly

• Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with an additional charge of £10.00, but they are not allowed on the furniture and under no circumstances are dogs to be left unattended on the premises at any time.
• Dog blanket, towel, and bowls are provided as required.
• The village green is a "No Dogs" area, however there is a "doggie" bin in the village car park for the disposal of Doggie bags.

Miscellaneous

• Both a folding travel cot and baby bath are available if required 
• Parking is normally available right outside the property, however, there is a large village public car park only about 300 yards away

Optional Extras

We do not offer breakfast but an excellent cooked breakfast is available at the Exford Bridge Tea Rooms just across the village green This is currently open from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm on Monday, 9.00 am Tuesday to Friday and 9.00 am to 5.00 pm  Saturdat & Sunday. They also hold Pizza nights on Friday and Saturday nights from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm and takeaways ae available ..... Highly recommended!! Breakfasts are also available in either of the village pubs.
